Meet the Founder and Managing Member of Arizona Star Tales, LLC - Gordon Rosner.
Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from St. Louis University and a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Gordon's background as a US Army Arctic Survival Instructor, Firearms Safety Instructor, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, USPA Licensed Sport Parachuting Instructor, Jumpmaster and Safety Officer, previous American Radio Relay League Extra Class Accredited Volunteer Examiner, and college level teacher of mathematics and aeronautics, created his dedication to education. That, mixed with his professional engineering career, fosters his continuing desire to share his life-long passion of astronomy to inspire others to learn and explore this fascinating and rapidly expanding aspect of science.
Gordon currently gives presentations on astronomy and space rocket design to organizations and colleges, is a life member and former President of The East Valley Astronomy Club, member of The National Chapter of The Astronomical League, member of The Planetary Society, Vice Manager of the GRCO Astronomical Observatory, a past Intel International Science and Engineering Fair Grand Awards Judge in astronomy, and a retired Senior Principal Mission Assurance Engineer for a space launch vehicle design, manufacturing, and launch operations company.
